What is the Holy Void?
It is the uncertainty caused by the omnipotence of
God.
It is everything as
God desires it to be, as He chooses.
It is the holy light that mystics lose themselves in.
It is beautiful beyond all knowledge.
It is what remains when you strip every last bit of certainty from your mind.
God.
The Creator of Heaven and Earth, whose Holy Catholic Church is a manifestation of his Will.
Most never catch a glimpse of the Holy Void.
Those that do are never the same.
It demands the renunciation of Earthly things, but it is more than anyone could ever ask for.
It does not require obscurantism (or the hatred of knowledge), but the wisdom to know that one's knowledge is inadequate to understand
God.
It has been many years since I had a vision of it, but it was only after renouncing my Earthly self that I came to see it.
Eventually, I took the path of Earthly things, and the vision faded, but some deep part of me desires to be free, to see the Holy Void.
I wish to die in a state of grace, so that I may see the Beatific Vision, of which this is only a precursor.
The Holy Void comes to those who unite themselves with the life of
Jesus Christ.
